Raised on a small farm in North Carolina, Emily Lingle grew to love nature and the country lifestyle she was blessed to experience. Her interest in art became apparent early on, as she enjoyed coloring and drawing at every opportunity. Deciding to pursue this childhood passion, Emily spent six years in art school attaining a Master of Arts in Commercial Art. She enjoys working in many different media but finds herself most drawn to oil painting. The influence of her upbringing can be seen in her work, which frequently depicts scenes from country life.
Although Emily’s love for art is strong, she has a love far deeper—the love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. She recognizes her talent as a gift from Him and desires to use it for His honor and glory.
